So many church goers act like the worship service is for us. If it’s the right music at the right volume with the right lighting at the right time, then "we can really worship." But when we mature in our thinking and decide that worship is for God, that’s when our worship really comes alive. In this message Pastor Roger explains this difference and calls us to true worship.
UPDATE ON coronavirus
Monday, September 21, 2020
Our campus is open to worship service and small groups following appropriate guidelines.
In keeping with our vision of being an "online church with an onsite presence," we invite everyone to gather this Sunday at 4041 Bahia Vista Street or online for our 10AM worship service. The service will also be streamed at 7PM.
Most people want to know what social distancing habits will be enforced. Just be smart and considerate. I feel no need to tell you what to believe about the coronavirus or masks. Do what you believe is most prudent. Personally I do not live in fear of the virus, and I do not live in fear of wearing a mask. I walk a middle ground on it. And you don't have to believe like I do about that.
But what I will require is this: Treat each other gently, and with respect. And I believe this is something that most of us are eager to do. Don't shame or ridicule people who have a different opinion than you. And don't pressure people to go beyond what they believe is prudent. Put that in your heart, and then come, let's worship God together.

With prayer and thanksgiving,
